Polish Sabre Seminar will teach you how to fight with a sabre, a weapon that has been successfully used all over the world for more than three hundred years! You will learn proper body mechanics, grips and cuts as well as specific techniques used mainly in polish style of sabre fighting such as ‘cross-cutting’. Don’t miss out!

– 11:00 – 11:15: A było to dawno temu … Short introduction. Theoretical knowledge
– 11:15 – 11:30: Warm -up
– 11:30 – 11:45: Wdech -wydech. Biomechanical programing and body preparation
– 11:45 – 12:15 Kroki i rozkroki. Footwork of the Polish sabre.
– 12:15 – 12:45 Piekielna polska czwarta or Five cuts of the Polish sabre, repetition of basic
– 12:45 – 12:50 short break
– 12:50 – 13:45 Terca po pod brzeszczot. Understanding the principles of swinging with the sabre
– 13:45 – 14:20 Przysiady i wypady. Body alignment and advanced methods of engangement in Polish sabre.
– 14:20 – 14:40 Palce szulera. 6 cuts of Ivanowski system.
– 15:00 – 15:30 – long break
– 15:30 – 15:40 short warm-up
– 15:40 – 16:40 Kałkaskie odgłowienie. Special cuts and techniques in Polish sabre.
– 16:40 – 17:30 Krzywa matematyka. Tactical approaches during the Polish sabre engangement
– 17:30 – 18:00 Zabawa w kije. Sparrings
